Galleries moving server question

Hola :)

We have all our galleries on one domain at the same server. Now we want to move that domain with the galleries to a bigger server with the same hosting company. There will be no downtime or anything, just a new IP adress for the galleries. Now to my question:

Will this set off any TGPs anti cheating scripts? Don't wanna be blacklisted just for making the galleries load faster...

Badabump for the techies ;)

i dont see why you are changing the ip if its the same host? anyways i dont thinlk there will be a problem

for 99% of the scripts this won't matter most of the time they just check for html changes. So you shouldn't notice to much lose.

Well, the other server has a different IP than the first. I don't understand all this stuff, my host said it should be OK, but he's not really a TGP submitter ;) That's why I figured I'll ask here too to make sure.

shouldn't cause any problems.

Did that two times, no problems have been encountered. Just make sure there's no downtime.

ok here is the best bet to avoid any downtime or getting banned

mirror the old site with the new server
Add the second server to the zone record for the domain in a round robin config.

This will load balance the servers between the two ip address.

take the primary server down and add the ip address to the second server.

you will end up with a single server with two ip address both assigning to the same network card.

remove the new ip address from the zone file.
once everything has propogated
remove the new ip address.

It shouldnt be any problem as long as it's the same domain and their is no downtime :)..
