question about trading hard links
adding your hard links to a seperate file named, friends.html, works just as good as adding the hard links to your main page for seo purposes? i'm working on building my back links & curious if adding them to a seperate html page that gets indexed from my main page will increase my se ranking.

do you just link to your friends.html or include it on your main page?

i use the tag...
<meta name="robots" content="all, index, follow"> plus... have a link to friends.html from my main page... |
I think it proberbly depends on the individual webmaster, it wouldn't bother me if you were linking to me from an internal page rather than your homepage, sometimes internal pages can be better than the homepage as long as that page is not hidden somewhere..
Also, many scripts won't allow you to link from anyother page except the index page. I like the idea of linking to a website from a different site than the one that they are linking to me.. unfortunately it seems not many ppl want to do that. |

Me too - non-recips are The Beast at the moment. Doing that gives a fair exchange and a non-recip link. Deep inbound links are sexy as fuck ;) |
