fricken hexidecimal!
I am trying to convert the following to hex FF, C0, CB, I am using it to conver color codes and its pissin me off cause my colors are not matching! Can any body help?

There used to be a ton of sites out there with that... some even had calculators built in. Run a search for hexidecimal, hexidecimal conversion, bbs color matching etc.
You may not always match them exactly. We ran into that back in the old bbs days when we did work for some local bbs's. It might be better now since so many colors are available on the vid cards. The differences if or when you run in to them might not stick out so plainly. |
Here's an easy way to convert Decimal numbers to Hex or Hex to Decimal...
Open your regular windows calculator. Go to View, switch it to Scientific mode. Decimal to Hex Select the Dec radio button. enter in your decimal number. click the Hex radio button.. voila, there's your Hex. Hex to Dec.. Same thing in reverse.. For whatever that's worth.... :) -KC |

Baddog those are three seperate numbers
FF would be 256 F0 is 192 FB is 203 Something like that. Anyways it sucks. |
