getting paysite traffic

a lot of threads here focus on tgps, avs sites, getting traffic through link swaps etc, but what are good/inexpensive ways for a new paysite to drum up traffic? is search engines and submitting galleries to tgp sites your only option short of buying traffic? :helpme

Amen to that. When someone invents something that'll make a 36+ hours day I'll buy.

With every ounce of passion that I have for success, I swear that I have put in a Solid 15 hours a day for well over 1 year.

Without doubt my schedule has been go to sleep around 6 AM and wake up between 10 AM and Noon for damn near 3 years, seriously.

But it has paid off, and will continue to, hence the "buy time" reply. I think of everything that I have ever done or accomplished in my life, the goal itself was never an unreachable feat, I think TIME was what I lacked most at least until the goal was finally reachable, it was only Time that tested the skills and end result.

Which brings me to one of my favorite quotes.

"The true test of competence is the end result." L R Hubbard ;)

this is gonna seem very rude and blunt.

it's not really meant to be but it's the truth

if your operating a paysite and have to ask these questions
then you should not be operating a paysite

I agree, it's important to do some resource BEFORE you start a paysite. You have to know how to promote a site: marketing..

i have done research, and site two examples in my first post, but everyone just focuses on tgps, search engines, and link exchanges. if you don't want to give me advice on the subject, could you point me to someplace i could do more of this 'research' youre implying i'm not doing enough of?

You have to buy traffic . ..meaning you pay in free stuff or outright purchase it. In some fashion you will pay because search engines are not what they used to be.

The search engines all for the most part been stolen out from under the small webmasters. They used to be about 70% better than they are now. NightSurf fucked everyone out of AltaVista and SexTracker fucked everyone out of Excite.

If you want to make money you might as well forget a paysite. You have to know what your doing prior to starting. You cant learn as you go cause the big guys will ground you to a pulp. They will buy keywords that have nothing to do with their site just to make sure you dont get that traffic.

Why don't you build a big AVS site and practice with that first?
