its boring without football
oooooooooooooooooooooh and To decided to sign with dallas, and what do my eagles do? they sign a homo back-up quarterback and several mid-level players...
however, i still have faith that the eagles will return to playoff form this year, eventhough the NFC east is gonna be THE toughest division discuss...... |
as long as mcnabb is in there you guys might be like .500...
my superbowl prediction: denver vs. dallas hopefully my raiders will make a playoff run though... |
Don't worry. 'Real' football will be back in a couple of months when the World Cup begins... :pimp

NFC West and AFC Wes are probably just as tuff. This upcomming season will be less entertaining. The 'stars' are not on as competitive teams this year. Fantasy will make it fun though.
I'm programming something to monitor yahoo fantasy leagues and send you a text message when someone in your league drops a player so you can be the first to pick him up (if he is good). Of course if you play with waivers its useless. |
but baseball season is just starting :)

I agree. I already can't wait for the NFL season to get started again. With all the madness in free agency it should be an interesting season.
However, one thing that really bites my balls is the new rules just accepted about touchdown celebrations that limit them to more or less simple dances, spiking the ball and shit like that. Don't NFL owners understand that we watch the game for entertainment? I can see celebrations clearly taunting the other team like fake mooning, rude jestures and shit like that. But come on, how many people tune in to see Chad Johnson's latest funny celebration? A lot. Who doesn't laugh when a player does something like pretending the ball is a baby and whiping it's ass. I'll tell you, a select few NFL purists that think it is still 1965. The NFL says celebrations slow down the game. Well, how about all the silly false start calls, and bullshit like that that slow down the game. Not to mention the 90 second review time on contested calls. If this keeps up it seems that the NFL will become truely the "No Fun League". Players will be limited to nodding polietly to the crowd when they score. Side, note, under the new rules the Lambo Leap is still an acceptable celebration. That seems a bit biased towards the one team that does it. Green Bay. Blah |

I live in Indy. I like manning but think he is a bit overrated. This season will be quite a test without edgerrin. I know the Colts aren't going to do shit this year. I hope you know the Eagles wont either lol. I'm excited to see how all the new QBs do. I woder what SD will be like without Brees. I bet by game 6 they are just as good. And I hope Brett Favre's old ass retires. He is within striking distance of Dan Marino's 420td's. |
