does clearcard use a "virtual card loading" system as its mechanism for taking payments..?

Kimmykim 03-29-2006 03:17 PM

Dave,
I think you're a super guy and I wish you luck.

I see a big compliance problem right here as well as a major fraud risk, a la the reason Paypal stopped processing for adult. I would look into it.

Yes, we have our own cards you can load money on.
We can pay you in so many different ways, loading cards, direct deposits, check, wires. You name it, we can do it. (Just about)

The one big benefit of ClearCard is that we have giving out thousands of cards to card users that need more places to shop.

http://www.adamevecard.com
http://www.cyberagecard.com
http://www.ugascard.com
http://www.motoxxxcard.com

and so many more..

We have thousands of card users that use their cards anywhere ClearCard and CNWB is accepted. With ClearCard, its already implemented in the setup.

Along with

I've been wondering when you were gonna let the cat out the bag. I've been watching you get this ready since 2003!

Lots of testing went into this, Congrats Dave.

Thank you Pornworlf,

ClearCard.com has been out for a long time, CNWB.com has been working and running for about 2 years now. We have added so much to it it's just amazing. Just waiting for the right time to share it with the world.

Virtual only or does it also allow for hard goods?

Both, and yes...you can buy hard goods with it wherever it is accepted. In about a month, you can also use it on any ATM as well. :thumbsup

aeon 03-29-2006 04:23 PM

bought time you got off your ass and did some work...to give webmasters a viable option.

I'm a cynic, an asshole, and don't like most of the people in porn - but in 8 years dave's never scammed a dime from me.

It's about time you brought this public slacker. I'm curious to see whether nats/mansion and others will intergrate this solution. That'll show whether they really believe in cascading or not.

Off to get blitzed.

Mpegmaster 03-29-2006 04:28 PM

Hey Dave.....

Will you process for an entire affiliate program ??
what are your rules about ownership......? will the owner have to be a US citizen ?? let me know

Bump it up - I'm curious to see whether nats and map3 really want another option thrown into the mix...

That should set their board trackers off.

I love vodka.

edit mpa3.

from your faq
"
What is a Sponsored Merchant?

A Sponsored Merchant is an electronic commerce merchant that does not have a merchant account, which contracts with an Internet Payment Service Provider (IPSP, i.e. ClearCard) to obtain payment processing through the IPSP?s services.
"

Based on this thread and your faq it appears you are now an IPSP no different than Paycom or CCBill? I thought no more IPSP's were allowed in adult?

Do you charge a visa fee annually? Does Visa certify site compliance or you?

Looking at your fees page:

"Service Set-up Fees Included
Transaction Fees 12% of transaction
Reserves $250.00 minimum reserve for any new merchant. The merchant can either fund the reserve in advance or have all net processing applied to reserve until the minimum $250.00 has been met. Should a merchants' 5% of net processing over six months exceed the min, reserves will be held as 5% of month volume for first 6 months. (upon termination of contract reserve is returned in 6 months)
Monthly None
Sales Minimums None
Payouts 1st and the 16th of the month
Reseller Program Yes (call customer service for application)
Customer Service including
Technical Support None
Member Management including"

it looks like there is no visa fee.

Anyway- can you pay weekly with a shorter lag and can you do better on the rates on volume? How is the customer support?

xNetworx 03-29-2006 05:59 PM

What is the fee % range? 10-15 like ccbill and paycom?

Is it 12% for everybody?

minusonebit 03-29-2006 06:00 PM

I'm confused.

You are an IPSP or offering some sort of prepaid debit card like thing?

BTW, I cant reach your site right now. Its probably my good for nothing ISP.

Damian_Maxcash 03-30-2006 04:42 AM

Is the affiliate system integrated like CCBill?

Also when the ATM integration is up will it be possible to pay affilaites via the card from the IPSP account funds?

Good timing BTW :)

chupacabra 03-30-2006 02:30 PM

does ClearCard require VISA approval for sites or is this not neccessary as per the paradigm of 'card loading' that some billers make use of..?

I am very interested in using your company for a project of mine. What is the best method to reach you? ICQ or email? I am interested in speaking with you about your services and possibly your affiliate program.

Contra 04-18-2007 07:32 PM

Can you do processing for American individuals with sites by using ss#? I’m still not a business, just an affiliate, but I’d like to start a member site soon.

dissipate 04-18-2007 07:37 PM

Private merchant accounts for the win.
