when u move a site to a new IP

does that have influence on your SE listings?
i heard that yahoo lists older domains better then new ones, i guess they only look at the domain & not the IP but just checking to be sure.

I dont think the IP matters unless there are much cheating/spam

I've had a site moved to a banned IP once. Not fun.

im getting a new dedicated server at a host so the IPs on there are all new
unless IPs are getting recycled.. hmm thats an idea.. is that even possible?

One of my blog's dont have a unique ip and are shared with loads of other domains on my server, will SE traffic improve on it if I was to move it to a unique ip? or even go as far as a new class c ip? Cause right now the domain is over 1 year old and has a PR4 and very nice yahoo and msn listings but I get literaly 0 google search traffic on it :Oh crap

It matters.
Escpecially when the c block changes.
You may have more or less counting incoming links.

So if I move my domain to a different class c block it might get worse?
