Whats the best sleeper car?
 

if u didnt know, a sleeper car is a car that looks regular but is fast as fuck.

example: mercedes c43 amg

u know any others?

1989 turbo dodge caravan

buick grand national GNX

VW Jetta GLX VR6, GTi or R32.

audi RS station

what do you people consider "fast as fuck"? haven't seen too many audis or VWs running 10-11 sec quartermiles

Vega with a small block or a Pinto with an SVO turbo motor, although I suspect you're after something more modern...

you can also drop a hopped up 5.0 V8 into a volvo easily. sound usually gives it away tho :winkwink:

how is the S4 a sleeper? great car and quick, i agree, but not a sleeper.

what about that stock civic who smoked the viper? that is intense

even had a stock exhaust pipe on it, but it was bypassed

some of those diesel trucks are easy to make very quick as well

my definition of sleeper is a car that is fast without looking fast.

I dont mean souped up civics with modded engines

the audi s4 and rs4 fit the bill

any model that has a wide variety of engines would also be a sleeper car.

Man cant believe someone didnt list the 2006 Jeep Grand Cheroke srt8 yet.

Thing is an SUV that does 0-60 in under 5 seconds. Super sleeper, of course will cost you 44k :winkwink:

how are any of the AMGs considered "sleepers"? everyone knows the AMGs are fast as hell so they are not sleepers

Better yet a YJ or TJ with a V-8 or a grand built up for off-roading :)

yeah its the one that says AMG on the decklid.
i dont consider the E500 a really slow car either tho

ps. the difference is that the e500 doesn't have V8 Kompressor (supercharger) written on the side

This is all true,but the pictures I posted are of an E55amg and an E500.

If one pulls along side you at a stoplight,you are going to be hardpressed to know what it is.
BTW...the bottom pic is the AMG.

not true. the Mercedes E55 smokes the E500. nearly the same thing, but just thought i would let you know. The SL55, CLS55, SL65 are the other fast ones.

none of which are quite as zippy as teh SLR.

I will smoke em all (minus the SLR). heheh
