Phoenix Forum Weather Update - 3/28/06
 

Just to give you all an update.
ITs cooler today and been raining since I woke up. Its supposed to continue to rain today and tonight with a good chance of rain and t-storms on Wedneday.

So the golf tourny might get a bit wet.

GOOD NEWS -- After Wednesday, all looks good. Back to sunny and low 80's.

This is true. I've been going to this show pretty much since it started. Its truly nutz how big this show has gotten.

I do feel bad for the GigaCash Golf Tourney ... it might rain a lot tomorrow.:(

I would like to know if it is even going to happen as it will save me from having to get up at 4 AM if it isn't going to go on.

I'm in Tucson right now and it's spitting rain off and on and is nicely overcast. Makes a Vancouverite like me feel right at home :)

:1orglaugh man is that going to suck... I thought Phoenix was one of the dryest hottest places to go, and here I'm going to get off the plane and see rain for the first time in months :(

People seem to forget it is monsoon season there.

Hey it is. It just started this rainy crap a couple weeks ago. We had a record this year ... 140+ days with no rain at all. One of the dryest winters on record.

But don't you worry, by Thursday, its sunny and warm.

It is only sprinkling on the Tempe side of town..... there is a lesser chance of sprinles tomorrow..... the golf will go on without a hitch.... plus it is still 70 degrees :-) Then, 75 to 80 the rest of the weekend..... everything will be ok :-)

Acutally, thats not true. Monsoon season starts middle to end of July and runs into September.

Okay, I don't live there, it was just the explanation that was given to me as I paddled my bike back to the hotel.

This can happen. Man, when it rains here, shit gets clogged up and the streets flood fast as shit. Usually there are a bunch of storied during monsoon season about people trying to drive through washes and getting sucked in. A few people die each season due to drownings.

Oh, I am coming, but I will bring the car. If I bring the bike I know it will rain for sure.

Here's another update folks ... to be honest, it doesn't look that good for weather tomorrow. All weather peeps are saying its going to rain and storm tomorrow. Here is a dopler radar from 20 mins ago. All that rain that is being dumped on SD and LA, well its on its way.

Hell ya ... if it wasnt for the gold tourny, I would have no problems at all if it rains. Shit, we went over 140+ days without rain. We need rain, we love rain, we have sex in the rain ... ya mon.
