We have a good chunk of byots there. Hardly anything you can make a living on, solely with others sending traffic/sales to them.
They don't facilitate any usable content you can use other than for making fhgs which means you'll have a hard time bringing in the sales unless you operate your own tgp(s) with a good flow of productive traffic. Even with public galleries you won't see any big guys pushing your galleries - they'll probably be pushing their own or the standard ARS sites that pay more.
It's all good though, just don't expect to get rich off it.

Thanks for the info. :) My friend USED to make a good living on it, but then he ran a pretty good links list as well. He had some health problems that set him back quite a bit though; he's on to other things now. Blogs for instance... he was one of the first porn bloggers.

I had about 30 in the first ever ARS BYOT round. I pulled in 3-4k a week off them. Comfortable.

Then of course, they yanked all byots, and took all the traffic for them.

Ouch. That's a hell of a yank.

It's what you get for putting all your eggs in one basket, but ultimately, I think it was one of the moves that helped ars slip from being #1

You own't make anywhere near those kind of numbers today.

don't imagine it would be possible. They used to have big players who used byots. They guys went and launched their own programs after.
