Photo shop question

Dont know what changed in my PS set up. but now when I open an image that is taller than wider, it turns the image horizontal.

Any idea how to stop this???

sumphatpimp 03-27-2006 06:59 PM

maybe in preferences?

did you change the screen rez on your machine?

pornguy 03-27-2006 07:08 PM

Nope to both. At least I can not find it.

bump for your question

SilentKnight 03-27-2006 07:15 PM

Hmm...

That's a quirk I've never encountered.

Will it still allow you to rotate the image the correct way?

pornguy 03-27-2006 07:21 PM

Yeah. and then saving them seems to be fine. but if I click on them in the window viewer, they show horizontal again.

Does it do this with any image that is taller than wider?

Or just certain ones shot with a certain camera per say?

pornguy 03-27-2006 07:47 PM

any image from what I can see.

reinstall ps

pornguy 03-27-2006 07:48 PM

Yep. Just checked it with a photo that was for sure shot tall, and it rotated it. I guess I am just going to end up uninstalling, and reinstalling PS.

you dont have to reinstall it... try putting settings back to default and restart... it should put all settings back to normal... you mustve clicked something and know it
