Password trading (oxpass - lightspeed , others )
 

I notice some of the biggest password sharing sites are posting proxies along with their passes so people dont trip filters designed to shutoff accounts when to many people use them.. ( most of these accounts are dead , dont actually use the proxy , but login to one and get it shutoff

damn dude, that is kind of messed up posting those here...some of them actually still work

that oxpass members area is pretty sweet

By having people login from multiple IPs StrongBoxx or ProxyPass or whatever will automatically disable those accounts.

not if all these users use the same proxy server (ip is listed with the logins) to access the site

thats why i said to NOT use the proxies :thumbsup im assuming most people will help and login without a proxy thus disabling the account after a few people hit them, but your right i should have edited out the proxy , but it might help other program owners block that proxy too

thx smokey... a list of the proxies that most of these are relying on would be quite a boon, would love to add them to DENY in .htaccess across the board if they are commonly used for pw traders..

from the intraweb? just do a search on google and you'll find thousands of passwords.. :P

well they swap them quite often , but someone constantly updating these would be great

could be, but i think informing the victims so they can fix it far outweighs any knowledge a surfer might gain..

They are giving instructions in the password trading forums on how to use proxies and avoid detection already so.. it cant do much harm
