just kidding , but someone was mentioning that if you searched for a domain on whois.sc and it was available but you didnt buy it , a company was buying it based on people searching for it . so i posted a bunch of domains as examples but most of them didnt get bought but this one did .. :) http://www.whois.sc/fuckgfy.com

post your best untaken domain and see if they buy it for you.. ( and click all the whois links in the thread )

Yea registar register the domains for the week they are able to do it for free, test the traffic, and drop them if they are no good . Common practice nowdays.

That's not the point. The whois.sc guys made a big stink about their database not being the one they were finding searches from. Now to decide if this is one of those "testers" that saw it from that or a gfy member that liked the domain.

Awww....this battle is hopeless. It's happened to me twice in 4 months.

From the page they put up I'd definately say it's a squatter. Doubt anyone from gfy would put a generic ppc page up on a domain they know isn't getting traffic.
