Better organize it to categories. Of course you can first see the topics posted and then based on the popularity do the categories.

why wouldn't someone start their own thread, instead of giving their content to you?

umm, this site has 0 to do with GFY. It is for people who have an interest in this type of thing and have something they want to say.
