I wouldn't say "full of" conspiracy freaks - but they're certainly vocal lately.

On second thought, perhaps that "full of" can be applied TO the conspiracy freaks.

I have seen a larger amount of people doubting the system now a days than ever before... but can you blame em?

Not exactly conspiracy 'freaks'. I think it's healthy to question your government, no matter what the issue is. They have been known to hide certain facts and lies to 'protect' the people.

Four years ago I was the lone conspiracy nut on GFY.

Thankfully, more and more people have woken up to The Matrix. Red pills are being swallowed all across the nation and around the world.

In the past 100 years, governments from around the world have been caught red handed more than 200 times orchestrating acts of terror against their own people. And now the people have finally had enough.

V for Vendetta is a pretty good movie that summarizes the situation nicely.

Even if you are being a tad bit sarcastic, your statment is very true. If it's not done by God then humans did it one way or the other.

Everyone gets riled up when someone comes up with an alternative explantion and they rush to label it as a "conspiracy theory". What people fail to realize is that anything done by man is a conspiracy of some sort, one way or the other.

Take 911 for example. These are the main choices:


(1) Arab terrorists CONSPIRED to crash airliners into symbols of American power. Motive: Religion

(2) The US government CONSPIRED to use arab patsies to crash airliners into symbols of American power. Motive: Power

Either way it is a CONSPIRACY so whether people like it or not, WE ARE ALL CONSPIRACY NUTS!!

Here's the thing, and it's nothing new: Goverments, of all sizes, all over the World lie to the people. Some of them do it better, some of them get caught more often, but they all do it. By the time you're elected to a sufficiently high enough office, you're already so owing to the people that "got you there", that you essentially are not a representive of the masses anymore. That's just the way it is.

The other option is Anarchy. Under that scenario, the phsyically strong and ruthless would roll over the calm, cool, intellectual. "Who runs Barter town? Master Blaster runs Barter town.".

In reality, for any given significant event, there's three sides to what happened. The version of the ruling (read goverment), the view of the opposition (the "conspiracy nuts"), and what really happened.

Look V for Vendetta is not a good movie - its a pretty piss poor movie based on a okish comic book from the early 80's. The movie was so shite the guy who wrote the comic book and helped with the screen play demanded they remove his name from the credits

You only think its a good movie because it feeds your fucking paranoia - fucks sake who the hell gets their 'informed view' from a fuckin comic book!

Yeah, I think GFY is simply indicitive of the entire world now. It's commonplace to question those in authority.

While I wouldn't go so far as to call them "Freaks", the only thing I have a problem with is when people question EVERYTHING with the most obscure inconsistencies, when there are rational explanations for most of them.

For example, I question the JFK assassination, but DON'T believe there was a conspiracy about 9/11. I think the government knew more than they're letting on, but weren't directly involved. That isn't so much a conspiracy as it is not wanting to admit that mistakes were made. I also have NO doubt man landed on the moon.

The people that bother me the most are the ones that refuse to listen to rational explanations, and have an answer for everything. I don't have all the answers and can freely admit that, but others see that as an excuse to further their cause like I SHOULD have all the answers. THEY don't have all the answers either, but can't admit it. They divert attention away from THAT by answering MY questions with another question.
