WTF is wrong with NameWinner.com?
 

I bid on and appear to have won a domain. Bidding closed at 10:00:00 AM today, and thier system time is showing as more than an hour past. Yet there the domain is still out in the list for one to bid on and in my admin panel my ability to bid is gone but I am still showing as "High Bid" in green (which should have changed to won, right?) and there is no invoice showing yet and no e-mail confirmations.

Seems like this hour plus would have been enough time for the DBs to update and do whatever they have to do, right? Anyone who uses namewinner.com frequently have insight into this? Its a really good domain and I dont want to lose it to some glitch. :disgust

Well, from what I can see, I am the only one bidding as I "won" for the opening price of $30.

Well, this sucks. The domain was zgays.com which althought its not spectacular or anything, I thought it was catchy enough to buy and hold onto. But it looks like I am going to be fucked out of it.

Now the domain shows gray and says "Closed". Its also out of the avaliable to bid on listings. Nothing about my winning bid anymore.

Tahsts rubbish man..

Give it some time and see what's happening. Drop services are mostly rip offs if you ask me...

Well, I finally got a reply from NameWinner Support.

That was it. How helpful. You know, I used to get every domain I bid on with this service if I was the high bidder at the end and today they let 4 more go and so that brings the grand total on failures up to 13. 13 failues, 0 sucesses. Time to go elsewhere.

Anyone have any recommendations?

To the guy that said drop services are worthless, how else do you get ahold of a pending delete domain before it winds up Netster'd? I'd love to know, as I hate the drop services too, they are always fucking up. Please share the insider info. :thumbsup
