SE question about possible Google spamming

If I have 100 identical galleries numbered 1-100 that I submit to TGPs with the only difference being the recips at the top of the page, do you think google will see that as spamming and penalize the domain?

Maybe I should add <META NAME="ROBOTS" CONTENT="NOINDEX, NOFOLLOW"> to the galleries just to be on the safe side?

Thanks for any replies

Normally Google will just pick one and run with it and call the rest dupes but no - they wouldnt normally "penalize" a domain for that. Penalties on domains are very rare although a lot of people use that as an excuse as to why their amateur SEO attempts dont work :)

I think google won't consider them as spamming. But I am not sure at all.

i would just disallow /galleries/ in robots.txt

i think google's duplicate content penalties will only get more strict in the future

Duplicate content can get your domain penalized, probably it doesn't apply to news ...

Would you please post proof of this - as the people at Google say just the opposite at their blog and all of the SES panels that have been held about this subject
