SE question about possible Google spamming
If I have 100 identical galleries numbered 1-100 that I submit to TGPs with the only difference being the recips at the top of the page, do you think google will see that as spamming and penalize the domain?
Maybe I should add <META NAME="ROBOTS" CONTENT="NOINDEX, NOFOLLOW"> to the galleries just to be on the safe side? Thanks for any replies |
Normally Google will just pick one and run with it and call the rest dupes but no - they wouldnt normally "penalize" a domain for that. Penalties on domains are very rare although a lot of people use that as an excuse as to why their amateur SEO attempts dont work :)

I think google won't consider them as spamming. But I am not sure at all.

Thanks for the replies. If anybody else has any input, please let me know :)

i would just disallow /galleries/ in robots.txt
i think google's duplicate content penalties will only get more strict in the future |
Duplicate content can get your domain penalized, probably it doesn't apply to news ...
