Denmark/Danish vs Netherlands/Dutch

Tried to signup for a well known program thats been around for years but they are adding ePassporte as a payout option so I wanted to give their flag ship site a go.
No Denmark in the country list on the signup form so I emailed support asking about adding it to the list.
Got a reply back asking if it wasn't listed as Netherlands.

This is a common mistake that is made all the time so here is little help :)

In Denmark we speak Danish. http://www.cia.gov/cia/publications/...k/geos/da.html

In Holland/Netherlands they speak Dutch.

And Denmark can kick Hollands ass in football all day long :smokin

Funny, up until a few months ago, ePassporte still had "Guilders" in their system (the old Dutch currency), which have been replaced by the Euro for a good 3 years and now they're lecturing us?

Sorry couldn't resist.

Denmark is just packed of drunk ppl lol. Danish ppl drink beer to breakfast, lunch, dinner and with their cookie at night.

Danish ppl love there beer. I love Denmark lol.

These things are similar with Dutch and Germany.
Telling a Dutch that he might be listed as a German is bad for business!

Localization remains, inexplicably, a problem for many Web businesses. If you can't pay a market that you claim to serve the simple respect of using its language correctly, you should not try to do business there -- :2 cents:

But that's exactly the point -- THEY DO. When foreign companies approach the US to do business, they speak English perfectly and demonstrate an understanding of our culture, at the very least sufficient to talk to us intelligently about our markets and our businesses. As someone who is both American and fluent in several languages, I have a unique perspective. I can suggest I am with one side or the other, depending on my mood and/or my curiosity -- lol. But time and again, I see that it is the expectation of most American companies that the "foreign guy" will meet them more than half way ... Here's a nutty rant I wrote a while back about Language, Conquest and Survival. Be warned, it's VERY nutty -- :1orglaugh

Denmark has good beer - and good chicks. I know 2 danish chicks in The Netherlands :)

Anyway, I prefer netherlands as a country. Tax is lower.
