Recommendations of a good/basic lighting kit for video

We are beginning to produce some new and interesting video content.

And will be shooting using Sony vx2100.

Can you producers please recommend a high quality lighting setup??

For a small startup...under a budget?

Thank you and Kind-Regards...

We would like to thank everyone for their great input and fantastic ideas.

I personally want to thank everyone who responded and told me their basic setups.

I do boxlights here and there. Try Photoflex.com.. or the cheaper similar variations Like Amvona.com. You can get a nice kit for a few hundred

however, they are hot! Halogen lighting kits are a nice alternative, but can get expensive.

If you want something very cheap use the lights they use to light buildings, get them from your local hardware store.

Excellent solution unless you want to really control the light.

Hologen quartz working lights .. they even cum with they're own stands ... 19.99 $ at most hardware stores .. :1orglaugh

I don't mind the cheap hardware lights, but we are looking for a nice and efficient way to diffuse the light...

Any ideas?

Thanks from Rock

jtl's go on ebay and you can find a shit of the sets for sale. You want the 1500 watt set it comes with everything you need, the softboxes, the stands, even a nice case to carry it all.
