I think a lot of people use it. I know I have been approached about mine by people at shows since. I think it gives people a reason to talk.

It's an amazing resource that I use all the time. I would like to thank you Sleazy for doing an amazing job. :thumbsup :thumbsup I can look back and remind myself where, what and how they got to where they are today.I admit I steal a little bit from everyone. If it works for them its' gotta work for me.
Being ambushed interview on you gives you imho a certain amount of respect from your piers. I have found that webmasters love when they know that 1. they got interviewd 2. love the fact you took the time to read about them and 3. you remembered. All these combined with solid handshake and your on the right track on setting yourself up for something positive. I use it to approach key players as a relantionship builder. Nothing like mentioning something from thier ambush interview to break the ice on someoe you may have never met or had somthing in common with. I have been fortunate enough to have met 90% of those abushed so far and it makes me know that i have alinged myself with the right people in the biz. :pimp :pimp |
Cool idea, Scott. But the format would probably have to change a bit to increase the usefulness as a real resource. There are fewer than 100 interviews and well over 1,000 attendees are expected in Phoenix. To draw parellels to the offline realm, I guess what would be ideal is something between going to the yellow pages and going to the public library to pick up a bio on someone. What we need are *profiles* -- searchable, of standardized format, yet personalized. Here's an idea, combine what you've done with what Shmeklri has done -- create something in the middle - :) 2hp |

I think its a great idea you have, although since i have never been interviewed, i would'nt know how it feels :-) Going to these shows feels like being interviewed in person sometimes....being in the adult industry since 1989 with inventing the personals ( Audiotext ) and online since 1995 helps me with a great deal of experiences and information...anyways, now that you have mentioned your site, i will use it to see who i can read about and do my research for Phoenix..thanks scott
