My sister-in-law started to use it recently to call from Italy to Brazil and the quality is great (PC to Phone) :)

I bought an adapter to plug my regular phone on the computer and it arrived yesterday, I'll try it probably tomorrow or monday to call my parents in Sao Paulo

I don't use Skype but I am considering it. Would like to hear more comments on it

I've been using it for a few weeks and it's handy when I need to talk to my designers that live in Europe. I've also added my Skype name to my website so potential clients can call for free if they live outside the U.S. and use Skype.

I got tired of using a headset so I bought a Skype call center box which allows me to use my phone instead. It also allows me to call from anywhere in the world to anywhere else in the world for free by calling my own number first and then dialing out once I connect to the Skype box.

I have been using Skype In for the past few weeks. I have a UK number that forwards directly to my cell phone. It's pretty cool actually.

The Skype out to phones works nicely most of the time. It all depends on your connection but even at it's worst you can't beat the price of a call using Skype.

The text chat is clearly superior to MSN/AIM/ICQ/YIM but unfortunately it's not as popular. Also the file transfer is the fastest of all of the messengers.

Its lowered my long distance by at least 90%, and I've bought International SkypeIn accounts so my non-Skype using clients can make local calls to them which get forwarded for to me for free.

There's an O'Reilly Hacks book on Skype, buy it, its got a number of other bright ways to use Skype.

The ten euros ($12.00 U.S.D.) lasts me about two months of good CONUS and international use.

skype saves me many thousands of dollars each year... i bow to the power.

I've installed it recently - works perfect. Very good connection. And the price is low. :upsidedow I think skypein will be my next step :thumbsup

I do, use the Skype out (what you pay for) to call BUlgaria and England, sometimes the connection is not that great (especially weekends) but def. worth every penny

YEah i use it and i like rates are a good deal considering that i'm in panama.. so i really don't know if it is a good deal for you beaing there!

skype rules! the skype in is handy because peoples can call you from their regular phones. And you have some devices that you can plug to the usb port, to call, using skype, with you regular phones and even cell phone. With that device, you can even receive skype calls to your mobile.
