Saw the Scorpion King last night. It was pretty good. Better than the TV show Hercules, and had some funny scenes.

But the trailers for two upcoming movies looked cool

1) Reign Of Fire
looks like a futuristic, dragons come back to life and fuck up mankind movie. Mad Max meets DragonSlayer? Well, fire breathing dragons, and I'm there.

2)Mister Deeds
Adam Sandler movie. Need I say more? The trailer had us laughing out loud.

I would not trust a trailer for a comedy.....
alot of the recent comedies i have seen, the fuckers show every single funny seen in the trailer.....and the rest of the movie reeks....

for comedies, i prefer word of mouth....but then again, im a bit insane overall

Saw it tonite...it was pretty cheesy but in an enjoyable fashion. Both Mummy movies were the same.

As for comedies, I don't think there have been any comedies in recent years that have piqued my interest enough for me to even be bothered to go out to the cinema. Even if there had been I doubt I'd have bothered paying the $8 to go see it in the theatre. Most comedies do not benefit from a big screen and actually improve if you watch them at home with some microwave popcorn...after smoking a big bowl that is. :Graucho

Also, I think Adam Sandler sucks ass in anything other than SNL and even tht was getting stale towards the end...but that is just my opinion and I don't expect anyone to agree with me.

The Spiderman film is the one I'm looking forward to most. (I'm not a comic book reader but it looks like it'll be a fun ride)

Judging a movie by how good the trailer is, is like judging a paysite by how good the tour is.

Paysites put their best shit in their tours, then when you get inside the members area, you get some shitty pictures from 1982
