So...for a NEW affiliate program.....what do you think...
 

Few hundred affiliates...a few heavy hitters and averaging 60 joins per day.....pretty good for only 45-60 days in??

I am sure it helped solidify us as an honest program...Tranza is a well respected affiliate in this biz.....you would have to ask him if it helped get folks to join....

I guess it all depends, 60 joins per day.. are those mostly trials or full. I'm guessing by your sites it's probably trials, converting those trials into full memberships is another story.

That Tranza is... and I love what he's working on. Based on the results I'm inclined to join sooner than later.

Rice_Master....I have been in this game 11 years.....conversions is what is all about....as long as we hit the running average ...its all good...we have some exclusive content and more shooting every week...the conversions are where they need to be right now.....

At least for trial to monthly.....but i also know this is a marathon...and not a sprint...but i have confidence in the product and our ability to retain it....

Congrats, you just need to keep building and make every month better than the month before in both sales and rebills

All of my sites does not offer trials, I have been thinking about offering trials, but then again... I could lose money doing that, and i'm happy with how things are going at the moment. But just out of curiosity, just trying to pick your brain, what would you say the average of trials that convert fully to monthly subscriptions are? 25-35% would probably be my guess.

I think if you cannot get 35% then you really need to re-evaluate your model and try to make adjustments....even though i am going to say 30% of members will actually cancel before they even visit the site so as not to "forget" later....if you have a good product and it is presented properly...35% should be your bottom line.....unless you are really playing the numbers game and doing 1K joins per day....then you have room to play....but very few have that luxury...

35% is not good in my humble opinion. I'm not trying to spam but 60% of my trials converted to fulls in 2005 and I'm around 50-60% so far this year. Shouldn't it be around 50%? I'd imagine most people are at least half way commited once they've plugged in their credit card info.

i'm sorry to say but that's pretty near impossible. 50-60% conversions is unheard of.

Jan 1, 2006 - today

1257 trials, 692 conversions. Thats about 55%

Congrats on your success AW. It looks like you will probably be up to 100 a day within weeks.
