Is it just me, or does it seem ridiculous to spend $300 on a Razor cell phone. I guess I'm just behind the times or something but I prefer the phone that came with my calling plan, free.

Um, Verizon paid me $200 to take two razor phones of their hands last December. The phones were free, plus each had a $100 rebate.

I just bought a black razr for 250 from my carrier...I love the phone but I still feel like I got ripped.

Belinda got a new phone not long ago, so she wasn't eligible to upgrade to the Razor for a reduced price.

anytime you upgrade and aren't purchasing a new plan they are gonna tear you a new ass...

if she bought the phone under a new contract it probably would have been half that otherwise when purchasing a new phone to an already active account they rape the shit out of you

nextel/sprint is the worst with it some of their phones go for 400-700 if you don't get a new plan with the phone

Yes, it does seem ridiculous to spend $300 on a phone... but I did buy an expensive phone for my wife before, it was something like $250-$300 :(

I may buy my first cellphone when there is a company who offers unlimited internet traffic for a cheap monthly fee.

My wife is crazy about that pink phone, but she almost don't use her cellphone.
And it costs a lot more than $300 here.

I have a Razor and it is worth it. What the hell does $300 buy anyways? Does it buy you a suit? Does it buy you 2 pairs of shoes? So it is all relative :)

That's a little expensive, especially since with some planning you could have paid at most half that...

I don't like the razor phones, and wouldn't spend that much on a phone unless I was getting a blackberry or treo.

Lol, I spent 375$ on my Nokia N70, and then another 150$ on headset + adapter and a 1GB MMC Mobile memory card. And Im just a poor student :p

You get what you pay for. My razr is rock solid and dependable.

damn i heard some terrible reviews from the razr.. i wanted one too, but it is huge plus from the reviews it breaks very easy... def not worth $300
so i got the SE v600 instead, much cheaper back then and never had any probs with it.

Those had the best reception.Since I drop and lose phones on a regular basis, I go the cheap route. Last one I got they gave me two for the price of one 50 bucks at the most,other one is still sitting in a box. So when I kill this one and can get that one turned on. If more money meant better reception it would be worth it but it doesnt make a difference.

$300 on a phone is not so bad I think, it's not "spoiled" if she payed for it myself.

Personally I think $ 850 for shoes is too much, but I think under $500 is ok

$300 is pretty standard without a contract. When you get into the $500-600+ areas you are paying alot.

I'd say some damn cute shoes!! But I can't bring myself to spend $850 on shoes either ... I just can't. Especially working out of the house with two kids, they just don't get enough use.... but back to the phone.

No ... $300 is not too much, but I did hear bad things about the Razr as well. Not to bad talk it, I actually thought about getting one until I heard that they weren't doing so hot.

I get unlimited from TMobile on my Blackberry for $19.95 in addition to my phone plan.

I would not be very happy if she was buying $850 shoes or even $500 shoes. What a waste.
