It is probably designed for smart roads....they have played with that idea in california I think...a few km here and there...roads with sensors in them...so you just pick a course and go

Well, seems to me when your driving long stretches...like really making the miles it could be a pretty relaxing way of driving..drive by wire but in the chaotic small streets and stuff, well, eehm, no thank you.
