I'm having New York steak for lunch. Bought at a great price
Well, I don't mean to make this thread sound like housewives chat, but I bought New Steaks yesterday for $5.30 a kg, about $2 a pound, and I'm cooking some for lunch today. I've bought from this same company before, and their meat is great.
I thought I'd share the meat prices with you guys. By the way, I am in Mexico this week, that's where I bought it. Compared to my Florida supermarkets, at $13 a pound of NY, these prices rock! |
that's cheap. i pay around $6.00 per pound

Ny steak isn't supposed to be good steak anyways ;)
|
You better change the subject cause i didn't have lunch yet!!!!
:1orglaugh :1orglaugh :1orglaugh |
Dre, yes it is good steak. It may not the best, but it is indeed very good

i'll be reading about you in the papers (first case in *wherever you're from* of mad cow disease)
remember, you get what you pay for. I OWN a wholesale meat company. |
New York steak? You mean NY Strip??
|
damn
steak here is like $20 a kilo :/ |
don't die from it!
|
All meat here is dirt cheap, it's great. I like buying these excellent bacon-wrapped filet mignons at the grocery store for $4 each, or nice 14oz sirloin tips for $3...

Just imagine how many whores you may have bought for the price of a pound of steaks. |
I haven't enjoyed any type of steak besides filet mignon or tenderloin in years, not even porterhouse. Regardless of how expensive or cheap it is, it's just not as tasty as it used to be. :disgust
