I hate the real estate market!

Was just browsing a few houses outside Bergen, Norway (population 200k) and found a house close to were I grew up:

Asking price: $350,000 :eek2 ... just did a search for it and it was sold for $220,000 9 months ago...

I hate this market!

I know its hard, but get something to rent if you can. Interest sure is super low but... when the shit hits the fan this time, it wont be like going on a picnic....

nah not really.. you pay for the view basically (overlooking the city and about 15 mins to drive downtown.. but its way overpriced.. costly to tear down and rebuild a nice house

In my experience, no matter what the market is doing, the best advice is always look for a "motivated" vendor/buyer and you cant go wrong :winkwink:

I think the only people who prosper from the realestate market are the real estate agents themselves, they always seem to be driving nice cars :1orglaugh :1orglaugh :1orglaugh
