"House Resolution 4437 would make all undocumented immigrants felons and require all employers to verify the immigration status of its employees."

sounds good to me.

If they make them felons that means if they get busted 3 times or if you assist one you're an accessory. A whole lotta people could go to jail for a lonnnnng time. Companies that hire them could have their assets confiscated. You had better triple check the guy you hire.

Also, if you rent to one, give one of them any assistance whatsoever knowing they're illegal, they can work you over alot.

Its about fucking time someone does something. I dont even want to hear about the war on terrorism until this issue is resolved and every illegal is jailed, dead or deported (and I dont care which). Everytime they start talking about national security, I laugh and change the channel because its a joke.

Sadly, I fear this proposal wont make it in today's climate. If we lock up and send back all the illegals, Bush's buddies wont have anyone to clean thier houses real cheap or work in thier sweatshops. Of course, people always point out that the jobs worked by illegals arent jobs we'd want anyway. Yeah, as an adult, I dont want to be cleaning offices. But there are plenty of high school and colledge kids who'd be happy to have such a job and a whole lot more who could use it. God forbid any of today's kids actually earn something for themselves.

And law or no law, you should be triple checking the people you hire as a matter of good business practices.

The Streets of East LA will be empty he he.

On a more serious note though it is an issue that has pro's and con's on both sides.
