This is exactly what happens when you have too much money, and you won't do drugs with it. Rather than fucking up your life by becoming a heroine addict, going to jail for 6 months, going through a 12 step process and finding Jesus, you end up getting involved in the Church of Scientology. hmm when you stop and think about it , scientology is no stranger than most other religions. infact its rather tame and open ended..

I'll tell everyone the "secret" to scientology..

You spend a whole bunch of money to increase "levels" , gradually increasing your understanding "leading to the secret" , the further you go along the more questions you have ( obviously ) until you reach the pinacle , which costs a whole lotta cash, once you get there you learn the secret is " dont waste your time and money on religion" , now of course , you dont wanna look silly telling everyone you basically got ripped off for a whole bunch of money , and even if you do tell everyone the "secret" they wont understand until they take the steps themselves because the secret is to easy..
