Damn, ive seen that domain on gfy for what? 3 years now?

u-Bob 03-23-2006 06:11 PM

hehe :)

Dirty F 03-23-2006 06:11 PM

I think ive seen it from anything between 500 and 100k hahaha.

Somebody just buy the fucking thing already, put a site on it and stfu.

Dirty F 03-23-2006 06:12 PM

Wtf is it really worth? Its just hot air....its only worth something because it keeps getting hyped here. If it was really worth all that money there would be a site on it 5 years ago instead of being sold every other month. As far as im concerned its nothing more than a load of bread for example that gets hyped as the best load of bread in the world.

polish_aristocrat 03-23-2006 06:13 PM

www.*************** - 200 surfer typeins per day sent to GFY ;-)

:upsidedow

Lord Nelson 03-23-2006 06:16 PM

Its worth 10k tops. And i would think twice before buying it even for that price.

digifan 03-23-2006 06:58 PM

StuartD 03-24-2006 04:48 AM

Yeah, what a loser huh? He'll probably get it too and pocket himself $15k for very little work.

Man, I hate that guy. :upsidedow

KingK7 03-24-2006 04:51 AM

From bigticketdomains:

ePokerGame.com $2,000,000

Now thats a fucking steal

ssp 03-24-2006 04:53 AM

If he manages to sell it, more power to him! At least we'll get rid of the 40,000 threads about the dumb name.

triumph 03-24-2006 04:54 AM

I do not think KRL is the one that priced it!

Because the guy has it listed at greatdomains.com for the same price 55k!

Yeah because he is the ultimate!!!!!!!!!! I base that on teh 5000 times you've kissed his ass on GFY.

Anyhow, what's everyone griping about? Brokers almost always tack on money for themselves.

John69 03-24-2006 06:44 AM

those domains are way over priced on that site, what a rip off.

gentmaster 03-24-2006 07:38 AM

Power brokers have a much better chance at getting a price that is being asked for. And sooner. "Maximum exposure" much?

Are you really this stupid?

and so on.

When have I ever kissed his ass? Please give an example.

And my stating that he'll probably get it is hardly kissing his ass. I'd say the same for taboo or dombuyer or any other domain trader.

I only wish I could do what any of them do.

Thank god for that. Somebody needs to establish industry price points.

Think about that.

That's correct. The client has the ultimate price decision.

When he listed it with me it was at $55K. If the client goes out and sells it on his own without notifying me or changes price points that's his decision not mine and unless he notifies me to change the listing price, which he has not, I don't have the right to modify his price.

The owner of *************** has listed it on GFY at different prices, and at greatdomains at $55K and who knows where else.

That's his perogative as the domain owner.

A lot of guys marketing their domains do price adjustments and then end up with varying price points all over the place.

Not the best way to do it in my opinion, but again, that's the client's option.

EmployersDirect.com sold for $85K last week.

If that was posted for sale on GFY at that price people would laugh as well.

You just never know. Some sales leave people shaking their heads.

On.com sold for $650,000 this year. Its a nice 2 letter domain and has meaning but, I don't get that one either.

I just wish we could find all those pool.com bidders somewhere besides expired name auctions. I could list 30 domains on here that nobody would pay over $500 for but hot damn if they drop at pool it's retirement money. :1orglaugh

polish_aristocrat 03-24-2006 08:20 AM

well KRL maybe I should list some of my domains on bigtickets domains

lets say i list a domain worth $40k for $100k maybe i will even get a buyer one day who will pay that much :upsidedow

Pretty sure it's commission only. Couldn't hurt if you got some nice ones, was advertised awhile back.

Yeh, I have to agree Chad, Pool is pretty amazing at maxing up domain values.

They also get the most drops over all their competitors. I think they have 80 servers simultaneously working the dailies now. That's intense.

Dirty F 03-24-2006 08:28 AM

The domain business is retarded, seriously.

Preferrably mainstream $5K and up. I have client ads running this week and next in the Wall St. Journal. Ads run nationwide, international editions, and the online editions, so you get a lot of exposure.

And what's really funny Franck, everyone in it is kicking themselves in the ass for not registering more prime domains when we had a chance too.

Now you have to pay through the noise to get a nice property. Sellers want top dollar.

And yet the prices keep escalating.

What's amazing is today's 5 and 6 fig domains are going to be 7 and 8 figs in the near future.

And now major corporations are starting to play which is really upping the ante.

There's a very active market for high end adult domains also. So no prob working on that one also PA.

Does anyone in here have any names parked at Sedo? I'm showing "visitors" on some names that I wouldn't think got any traffic. Maybe they count spiders or something?
