Thirty-eight-year-old Toni Woods, a former 6th grade teacher in Braxton County, received 4 to 20 years in prison.

Woods was arrested last March after telling police she had sex with four boys--all under the age of 16.

The former teacher said nothing outside court as a wedge of family and friends tried to hide her from photographers.

Inside the courtroom, Woods said: "I was the monster these families think I am."

She tried tp convince the court her bizarre behavior was linked to taking Prozac and diet pills and that she was a candidate for probation or home confinement.

The Judge wasn't buying it.

One victim's parent said Woods turned her son into a drinking, drug using somebody she doesn't know.

Dale Fisher, another parent: "For him (his son), this is a lifetime thing. It's not going to end today."

Fisher is suing the school board over the impact on his son.

Debra LaFave, a Florida teacher facing similar charges avoided prison this week. What was different?

William Martin, parent: "Up here we had multiple victims. I wanted her to hear what she has done to our family."

The Judge gave Woods until April 1st to turn herself in to the Central Regional Jail.

It doesn't matter which county, it was with the same boy. The parents of the boy (who is still a minor) didn't want him to go through a court case. They did what they thought was best for their child which IMO, takes a lot of guts on their part. It would have been nice to see her sit in jail, but they are doing what they can for their son.

One lady (10 years older) has sex with multiple boys who's parents want to prosecute, while the other lady has sex with one boy who's parents don't want to prosecute. Two totally different situations.

I remember seeing some investigative report a couple years ago on this type of topic. Based on their data, it was clear that those that were very attractive and/or were caucasion, and/or had lots of money, were more likely to get a more favorable result in court be it getting off or less jail time. I can't remember if being female also helped or not.

By the way, if you're male and fucking your students you're also going to jail.

Your wrong they went after her in two counties , the first county gave her house arrest 3 yrs and then 4 yrs probation. The second county dropped the case. Also I thought your out of adult , for someone out your here alot lol

I think your wrong , she got house arrest. She was found guilty in one county and thats what they gave her a plea deal. The second county decided not to go forward without the kid.

In the US, there is supposed to be one set of laws for all people regardless of their level of attractiveness, fame, money, or power.

It doesn't always work that way though.
