Buying My First House

How did it go? I'm looking and talked to a lot of banks to get a proper loan.. most were negative (even though I have 40-50% capital) since I was self employed and "young".. one bank even demanded to see industry contracts :disgust

People with low paying jobs seemes to easily get loans with nada or 10% of capital so why the heck are we so not wanted by banks?

dude it's exactly what happened to me. they wanted signed contracts, clients list etc.
they saw I have a nice net profit / year but they said my company is quite new (2 years) and here like 7% of the new companies survive 2 years and 2% in 5 years. they even asked me about my skills.. fucking retarded.

wasted few good days with these croks. I fucked them all, waited few more months and bought an apartment last month with cash.

I bought my first house last December. Its a great feeling to sign all the paperwork.

Good luck on getting your own place.

young and owning your own house.... plan on getting laid a lot!

My bank just want to see a steady income on my accounts over some time. Should be less problem if you have such high % cash at the purchase.

Best of luck getting your house! Banks hate the self-employed. They'd rather you be working for McDonalds because they trust that corporate $180 weekly paycheck a lot more than your fat internet cash, or as bankers call it... "monopoly money".

Good luck with your new first home. I remember the experience and it was a good feeling.
