Lots of press and eyeballs, but not too many news agencies make hyperlinks from their articles to the site's in question. Some do, but generally its not the norm.

It is good, but mostly for getting eyeballs to typein directly, not so much for the SE effect of developing backlinks. You still will get lots of traffic though.
