This weekend in Cancun, a few people approached me with questions about our event in Phoenix. They felt we have been a bit too enigmatic. Therefore, Rand and I will use this thread to answer any and all questions you may have. I have listed a few obvious ones, but feel free to come up with new ones.

This event, sponsored by Paycom and Wegcash, will go down as one of the most unique events you have ever attended, we have a few things still under wraps, but rest assured, we have put a lot of time and creative energy into this one.

We are looking forward to seeing you all there.


1) How am I supposed to dress?

The idea of this event is spun from a paparazzi perspective. If you have ever read a National Enquirer magazine, or watched Joan Rivers post-Academy Awards show, then you are familiar with how they critique everyone?s appearance. You can shoot directly for one or many of the following categories, or you can dress as your favorite celeb, tv personality, ? you could sport the infamous J-Lo dress. Someone made a comment this weekend that doing the ?Brand Whore? category would be offensive to the sponsors: This could not be further from the truth! This event is going to be widely covered; you have a great opportunity to get your brand logo in front of the entire forum! We welcome that!

Here are the categories:

Best Cleavage - Need we say more?
Biggest Pimp - Best Pimp Outfit and matching attitude.
The "Skin" Award - Most "legally" revealing.
Sexiest Girl - Personality goes a long way...
Sexiest Guy - Unfortunately Cory and I can not be considered.
Branding Award - Who is the most obvious program whore?
Bling Award - Who wore the most bling or made the best entrance?
Most Uncharacteristic - Who shocked us most with their outfit?
Worst Dressed - Nominees are already being taken for this one!


2) Will I get in?

We have had meetings with CCBill and they are confident that everyone will get in. There are no vips, everyone registered with the show is welcome in. However, in my honest opinion, there may be lines. 1000+ registered attendees and our event will hold 500 max. Between Paycom and Wegcash, we always get good attendance. I would suggest you arrive as early as possible.

3) Where is it located?

Exactly across the street from the Mission Palms. It is next to Hooters. There are lots of attractive waitresses working inside. In all likelihood, you will have stepped onto the premise once or twice before our event.

4) How do I get entered to win a cash prize?

You are entered by default if you attend. Rand and I will narrow a list down for our judges to choose from. They will judge after the conclusion of The Phoenix Forum. You can find a list of the judges in this thread:

And yes, you can bribe judges. This event is intended to be Hollywood, raunchy, under-the-table, etc.



5) Do I have to pay for drinks?


Drinks are paid for. I just called the guy to have them include Mojitos as well. There will be bar food as well, but I would suggest you eat prior to the event.

6) If I do not know how to pronounce the event, will I be declined entry?

I haven?t a clue how it is pronounced.

Actually I think the branding award is one of the better categories. With the kind of PR this event is going to generate, the exposure is going to be awesome. There are so many things you could do with this. Does anyone remember who it was that showed up to one of the Hollywood Awards shows wearing a dress make entirely of American Express cards? -- That was very clever.

i will win the branding contest next year. a couple weeks time isn't enough time for me to do something creative and really deserving of the effort. are you guys doing this next year? i don't really half ass anything so i want to put extensive time into what i put out there.

I think I could qualify for this in general daily life.

Now I AM a confident guy, but standing next to studs like Cory, Poppy and co..... I think only if charisma, stupidity and lack of a care factor are considered sexy by the judges. That and the inate and ever-present fear that I might nail their cat to their front door and otherwise stalk them if they don't give me something.

Branding Award - Who is the most obvious program whore?
With my new Affiliate Manager role at LionDollars I intend to make an IMPACT. Capitals for prominence even from someone who can usually make himself known no problem. Be afraid Corey, be very afraid ;-)

Bling Award - Who wore the most bling or made the best entrance?
The only bling I can wear that fits my neck (if it can actually be considered a neck) is chains from large driveway gates. Scratch me for this one.

Most Uncharacteristic - Who shocked us most with their outfit?
I do believe I am NO chance, as I said above. NO-ONE could possibluy be any further shocked by things that I do. Surprised maybe, shocked, no way.

Worst Dressed - Nominees are already being taken for this one!
Winning this one could actually mean you also win one of the others. Think about it....

Now after all of that HUGE props for Wegcash and Paycom for bringing us such a cool event !!!

This is the most important item. If you ARE NOT REGISTERED and have your Phoenix Forum Badge don't bother showing up. REGISTRATION is CLOSED. I know this sounds harsh but we want to keep this a Networking style event and also one that sponsors and the bars can Accommodate. NO BADGE NO ENTRY. I am sorry everyone, but we have already turned away overf 300 people that are trying to get badges now:(
