can u upgrade the HD in an IPOD?

I want an ipod but I want at least 100gb one so is it possible to buy the cheapest one like a 20gb and change the drive in it out for a 120gb or 160 gb drive ?

candy, That's to replace a HDD in a 4th gen ipod.

No, you cannot upgrade the apple ipod HDD with a larger drive simply because it doesn't exist. They currently make the ipod with a 30GB and 60GB harddrive. You can't fit any other drive into it without some modifications if even possible.
