ordered a DVD from amazon.com - more than a month and it hasn't arrived

How long am I supposed to wait for a single DVD to arrive? Six months, a year?

Checks from the States get here 10-12 days after they're issued.

How do they ship their goods, do they use fucking physically challenged postal pigeons????????

cranki 03-22-2006 06:35 AM

Nah, they don't deliver packages to my house, I get them from the post office, and you need to produce id/drivers licence to receive them, also I did Debbie long time ago, I don't need that particular DVD ;)

Stallion 03-22-2006 07:08 AM

yeah contact amazon support and see what the deal is

Stallion 03-22-2006 07:08 AM

maybe the postman kept it. They will resend I am sure..

Krille 03-22-2006 07:13 AM

XxXotic 03-22-2006 08:35 AM

was it a product from amazon? or was it a product a user was selling on amazon? if the latter, you may have just been ripped off. :( GL tracking it down

Exactly, if you live in a shithole like South Africa you'll be waiting for ever. Some thief most likely stole it at the post office.

Try reading the fucking site:

'International Standard: 3 to 6 weeks ( may take 8 to 12 weeks due to customs delays)'

trust me, the average white South African lives 5 times better than the average Pole, just my :2 cents:

as far as the postal services are concerned, for 10 years haven't had a single lost parcel or letter, and only one lost check and I'm 99% sure that it simply wasn't sent

ok, didnt know it, i thought they may steal international packages ocassionally

pornpf69 03-22-2006 11:40 AM

was it already shipped?

ronaldo 03-22-2006 11:41 AM

Was the DVD available immediately? Sometimes it does say "Takes 1-2 weeks to ship," because they don't have it in stock.

Anytime it's been available immediately, I've gotten it within 3 days, but I do live in Canada.

Overseas Amazon orders are sent Global Economy which means the lowest priority. It goes by boat and then has to go through your countries customs.
Next time get off your lazy ass and go to the store.

Cassie Leanne 03-22-2006 12:03 PM

Weird, I'm in Canada and when I order stuff like that from Amazon, it's usually here within a week.
