OK so i finally got to take that bad girl for a ride and decided to take it.

Meet my new baby, a 1972 Cadillac Coupe De Ville. It's a project that I will be starting in April. She purrs like a kitty on the first turn of key and basically with some love will look very good.

This is my first project car I'm excited ;-)

Ohhhhh shit. I think my brother has a 72 that he has been looking to get rid of. I'll subscribe to this thread and let you know what is going and if it is a 72.

It's in immaculate condition exterior and interior.... but has eletrical problems that not even Caddy experts can figure out so he's taking it as a loss.

They don't make them like they used.

Back in the day, one of my boys had one that was black and grey 2 tone with pristine grey leather interior, the spare wheel on the back with straps on the trunk ... bought it from some Puerto Rican pimp in Brownsville, East New York ... car was immaculate!

Nice car - I'm considering getting an oldtimer and doing it up too some day when I have the space.

We have a car museum about 5 minutes away that have a lot for sale. No Cadillac Couple de Ville 72's though. Only a Coupe de Ville series 62 from 1956.

Of course, at the end of the project will be a great reward that's a can't lose-either you keep the perfect car or you sale and make a killing.

A friend of mine is putting togather his Cadillac (cant remember name) '57 and pontiac bonneville '57 this spring, we are talking mint condtition! It's gonna be fucking sweet, I'm prepared for some serious ridning this summer :)
