XP works great for me, much better than 98se. Very stable - smooth interface.

Tipsy 05-01-2002 08:49 AM

I like XP pro although I gotta admit I dumped the dodgy interface.

Great colors, how did you change them from the monotonous green/blue you get as standard?

I can't stand those fucking MSN icons they got all over that shit..... reminds me of those gummy gel rings for babies. I will never use that AOL of an operating system. Fuck XP..... delete that shit and install Win2K Pro.

wannabeapornstar 05-01-2002 08:56 AM

win98se suck comparing to win2k or xp pro(never used xp home, but i think home edition should be ME SE)
but i found some nice features in xp pro that i didnt have in w2k...

But i gotta admit that it looks gay untill you change the color scheme:thumbsup

wannabeapornstar 05-01-2002 09:02 AM

btw is there a way to remove MSN from xp?

The Dawg

Right click on the bar and stop it doing it ('Group similar task bar buttons' needs unchecking) :winkwink: Pissed me off too. Same as the colour scheme. If it annoys it's easily turned back to a 2k look.

XP rocks......it is much more stable than win 2k and much more configurable.
Now, I only reboot when I install a new application or when I decide to.....never because of a crash....it has been like that for more than 6 months now!!
So I will never go back to win 2k! But that's what I use at work and it makes me go crazy sometimes....lol :)
