haven't had a chance to play with it yet but i've been meaning to install it on a few of my blogs... i've heard a lot of good things are you going to offer an upgrade for pre-existing license holders or will we have to repurchase the new version?

Upgrades are always free. Just log into the members area, and regenerate archive to be sure you have the latest version. follow the readme to upgrade, and voila.
