For those complaining about $35 epassporte fee

There's a logical reason they're charging that... they're giving a whole dollar per card to resellers! No 0.98, no 0.99 but a whole buck! :1orglaugh

Now I can quit porn biz :pimp

he's talking about to receive you visa electron card from epass they charge a $35 fee to get the actual card

SmokeyTheBear 03-20-2006 10:35 PM

do you own a real credit card ? have you ever owned a real credit card ?

i'm not being mean but i have several credit cards and thats about the going rate for a yearly fee. I have one card with no fee but the interest rate makes up for it..

Im not saying i like the fee but as long as the service is worth it then i dont mind paying a fee. What i dont like is to pay a normal fee and get inferior service :)

alan-l 03-20-2006 10:47 PM

hey Jumpy Smokey, I've a few CC and I know what they charge, last week everybody was complaining about that and discussed about the cost of plastic and I just found it funny that they're giving one dollar per CC holder. We call it humor, try it, it's good and refreshing :thumbsup

btw, just in case people were complaining because of the cost of REPLACING broken cards, no annual fees. And if you pay that amount for a replacement card, I can tell you they're fucking you hard and good :winkwink:

I've never had a credit card or bank debit card that had a yearly fee... :2 cents:

Neither of my banks charge me an annual fee. They definitely don't charge me for replacement cards, especially when its their fault. Furthermore, each bank is extremely easy to get a hold of and fix any problems with.

For people overseas Epassporte card is most definately worth 35$ annual fee :2 cents:

I have several CCs. The only ones with years fees are American Express and one of my Mastercards which is $12 a year to get a reduced % rate. All the others don't have any yearly fee.

And at my bank, If I keep a minimum in my account, my monthly fee is waived. Compared to regular banking and CCs, ePass ass rapes it's users in fees... I haven't compaired the 2 in terms of fees but I suspect PayPal is almost as bad.

Doctor Dre 03-20-2006 11:46 PM

They're a fucking business ... normal they have to make money somewhere.

I don't see why people are complaining about them. I can see ebay when the fees are getting out of hand, but that... no biggie.

exactly what i said :)

SmokeyTheBear 03-21-2006 12:08 AM

what it boils down to is the epassporte card is basically a bank card and shouldn't really cost anything , it costs pennies to produce , and only helps make epassporte more money thru user fees. Its sort of an insult to charge a fee for it..

If they were clever they would charge the fee for "fast helpfull customer service" with a money back guarantee ( that you have to contact customer service for if your dissatisfied ) that way anyone who gets good service will feel its worth it , and anyone who thinks it sucks will eventually get sick of contacting customer service for a refund
