Rub the bird down with a good dry rub.
Stuff a can of beer up its ass that you took a few sips from.
Stand it up on the grill and let it go.

Brilliant !!!

Include basil, oregano, lemon pepper, garlic and thyme in dry rub and bake as above for 40 minutes on high.

And watch the can when you take it out.. the sucker is red hot !!

:thumbsup

Something dark, typically I find sierra nevada works well up a birds ass.

The beer is more for the moisture and less for the bitter taste.

You'll hardly be able to tell the difference. Every beer has yeast, malt, and is in liquid form. Don't bother buying expensive shit.....it's pointless. Shove some Pabst Blue Ribbon up there.

This may sound wierd but a can of Dr Pepper also works damn great and is also a good basting liquid.

Coke does a damn fine job as well, but with beer, it REALLY goes to work on the flavor. Tried and true.

not really bbq chicken but i made this last weekend was really good.

Chicken Wings - 4 lbs
Soy Sauce - 1 cup
Brown Sugar - 1/2 cup
Dry Mustard - 2 Tbsp
Butter - 1 stick
Water - 1/2 cup

Take chicken wings and seperate them, cutting off the wing tips. Take soy sauce, butter, dry mustard, brown sugar and water to a boil in a medium sauce pan, whisking the ingredients together. Place chicken wings in a deep baking pan or aluminum throw away, and pour sauce over the wings. Bake in the oven for 45 minutes on 350 degrees.

they are out of control couldn't stop eating them

Beer can chicken is the shit, rub it down with some rosemary, thyme, and stuff a can up its ass with coke or Dr Pepper in it (or beer) and let it roast away.
