that site is still up and running...

The script declares a variable a and b defined as images.
for which the second image is the index.html from porno.ru
further in the page there will probably a function that loads these
variables but not displays.

By puting this in javascript all visitors will make these variables
load. That way the image source comes through the users and
not through huns server which makes is virtually impossible to
block the DoS attack since all requests come from different IP´s

That way it can´t be blocked in the router of firewall...

I know that thehun has a saying "Dont get mad - get even" BUT as I see it - implementation of this saying in this case - and in that way - is the WORST way possible.

Not only illegal - Its also stupid of him - as I see it.

at least some galleries have dialer ads - dialers should work globally even for Russia...

what can the hun do anyway? the authorities aren't going to get involved. maybe if it was somebody from your own state, but accross countries? they'd get involved only in murder or something real serious like that, what the hun is doing is the way to go.

It is illegal. Though porno.ru is stealing TheHun's links. He did give them warning I suppose, it is more he should have done it through legal means, because now he would be liable, and he has more to lose than porno.ru, I'm sure.

This acts the same as a DOS attack, which is being controlled and carried out by TheHun, using his surfers unknowingly. It definitely isn't legal - I agree that porno.ru are idiots and shouldn't hav stolen links, and source linking might be only way to stop them, I'm just stating why it would be considered legal.

Any lawyers care to comment ?

What if the guy is not on a dedicated server? I feel sorry for the other clients that share the same server =/ Not fair to those guys.

Imagine you were on a shared server and some guy gets attacked and your site begins to load slow or even load at all. Cheaters deserve what they get but the innocent don't have to suffer as well.
