How much is TGP 404 traffic worth?

I got quite a lot of it and I'm thinking of selling it.

How much would 1k clicks be worth? $1? $2??

I'm testing some options right now but I'd like to know what GFY thinks about it.

Alex 03-19-2006 05:17 PM

Depending where its from. TGP 404 i take it?

Alex 03-19-2006 05:17 PM

Throw up some of your own pages. See how much you make per unique. Then find an average price to sell.

That's what I meant when I said "I'm testing some options right now but I'd like to know what GFY thinks about it.", but who knows, I might be sending it to the wrong place or I don't know the "tricks" I should use to convert it.

That's why I wanted to know GFY opinion.

It's worthless....It's not worth to sell it, coz you can't take more than $1 per K... (based on my experience)

Not 1 real advice in this thread.

Nice.

:(

wedouglas 03-19-2006 05:44 PM

I would trade it to another tgp. is that possible?

AmateurFlix 03-19-2006 05:47 PM

tranza why not just dump it back to your own tgp?

If there's any TGP trading based on traffic only and not productivity I would accept that trade.

But I'm pretty sure that no TGP dealing with this kind of volume would trade without being concerned with the productivity.

I'm not sure than that's the most profitable solution.

:)

The Heron 03-19-2006 06:21 PM

You'd have to pay me to take that crap!

Furious_Male 03-19-2006 06:27 PM

I have seen it priced from $1-$5 per k. Personaly it isn't worth more then .50 per k to me. See if one of the brokers want to buy it.

After Shock Media 03-19-2006 06:31 PM

Niche or niches of your tgp where it originates?

Fizzgig 03-19-2006 06:38 PM

If it's tgp 404 traffic send it to your tgp. That's what they're looking for.

Krille 03-19-2006 06:41 PM

good luck

sounds like a plan

digifan 03-19-2006 06:46 PM

Good luck... I am having a lot of it too.

ravo 03-20-2006 07:12 AM

See www.buy404s.com - $4/K

Hit me up at icq:143720824. I'm not sure we can buy all 130K/day, but we'll take a chunk of that.

ffmihai 03-20-2006 07:18 AM

sell it to my signature. however do you filter it with javascript to avoid img src?

slapass 03-20-2006 07:22 AM

I send mine to AFF. Works out for me. I get a little around $3.5/k.

I do not tgp much but I always thought I should make a new TGP send the 404 there. Use it to build the new site.

:2 cents:

It all depends on the ratio you want on return. Nobody will trade 1:1 his clicked traffic for your 404, but with a good ratio for both sides it could be not a bad business.

DaddyHalbucks 03-20-2006 09:06 AM

This sponsor works great for monetizing 404 traffic:

The Duck 03-20-2006 09:56 AM

hit me up

tranza 03-20-2006 11:36 AM

Wow.... 16 people contacted me on ICQ because of this.

I'll contact each and every one of you guys that contacted me.

:)

tranza 03-20-2006 12:04 PM

I'll write this down here so that I don't have to repeat myself over and over again:

1- I'm not a traffic broker, and I'm not looking to sell small chunks of this traffic, I don't have the software/script and I don't have the time to deal with small buyers.

2- I'll be testing this traffic until SUNDAY NEXT WEEK 04/01, using different landing pages. If you think your program would convert well with it let me know and I'll test your program as well.

3- Mainstream programs are welcome. :)

4Pics 03-20-2006 12:19 PM

If you want some something to test it on, let me know as I can work something out with you to buy it all.

This thread brought me A LOT of AWESOME deals!

Who said GFY is not for business?

:)

alan-l 03-20-2006 03:33 PM

If Ravo is buying at $4/k I'd jump all over it. We were buying from web1000 when it belonged to Mikey at less than $3 per 1000, so I'd say that's a very good deal. I mean, 500 bucks a day for nothing sounds quite fine. Personally, I'd buy it for somewhere between $1 to $2 or so, so I think that $4 offer is unbeatable :Oh crap

You'd hit Harvey on ICQ 104870192, I know he was looking for something like this and he's not very board prone nowadays, maybe he'll bite

tranza 03-20-2006 06:06 PM

I'll be done testing AFF tomorrow. After that I'll test Ravo's site.
