Morbid Picture - Dead Guy who hung himself (PIC)

This is [sadly] totally legit. This guy hung himself today in the woods near my house. I was able to snap a few pics with my cellphone before the detectives cleared out the area. His foot was only about four inches from the ground!

Kind of makes you think huh? Makes you thankful for what you have.

That is very sad.

Manowar 03-19-2006 04:20 PM

god damn

SilentKnight 03-19-2006 04:21 PM

His one leg appears to be up in the air...or something. Looks rather odd.

Yea, it was hooked on some shrubs.

Furious_Male 03-19-2006 04:24 PM

That is fucked up. Are his hands in his pockets?

KRL 03-19-2006 04:25 PM

Something doesn't seem right on that. That's not enough ground clearance first off to snap a neck. Second with the size and weight he appears to be I'd find it hard to believe he was able to climb that branch without falling or snapping it.

UtahSaints 03-19-2006 04:26 PM

this is crazy... I would never want to see something like that.

No, his hands were at his sides, they were almost as blue as his jacket from the settled blood. it was fucked up.

SilentKnight 03-19-2006 04:28 PM

Guess his website's weren't converting very well. :(

Trust me, I wish it were fake. But it is legit. Funny thing is that a witness (a local kid) said they saw him there yesterday sitting up on that branch drinking a bear. The witness was riding a quad through the woods at the time, and again this morning when he spotted the body. I thought that was weird. People hang around in the woods all the time drinking, but by yourself, up in a tree?

makefuckingmoney 03-19-2006 04:33 PM

You're right KRL.... it was all a hoax.

:(

LexiLexxx 03-19-2006 05:47 PM

That's very sad!

I have known two people who have done the same thing, one was a good friend. He was hooked on xanax, taking 40-60 pills a day. He was going to
4 different doctors to get his supply.

He hung himself the night he checked himself in rehab, with his own shoestring. Left behind two daughters and a wife. His wife use to stop by the cosmetic counter I worked at and I couldn't look at the girls without seeing him and crying!

The other was a maintanance man, where my good friend worked, he was a strange one. He was doing some kind of sexual thing, to cut of air supply to have a better orgasm. He was found on a Monday morning, when he was late for work, this was a guy that was never late.

A live on sight police officer and two other maintanance men went in his apartment, found him hanging naked with clothes pin's on his nipples. His
mom was in her 80's, the police went through all the sick stuff in the apartment and got it out, so his family didn't find it.

My friend was just sick about it and I had to go with her to show that apartment each time is was available. I still feel like it was a good thing it happen, as he had a thing for my friend and it was scary!

The thing that bothers me, is the people who do this in the home. The picture you posted is really sad, and even more sad if a family member would have found him. I also don't agree that people who commit suicide go to hell, but I will not get into that.

I would hate to be the person, who has to pull him down. May he finally rest in piece.

Both stories are sad in their own way. BTW, I agree with you about the hell thing as well.

Well, maybe he struggled for a while before he broke his neck.. :(

TheSpreader 03-19-2006 05:58 PM

When you told him that you wanted him to hang around he took it literally. :disgust

Those pics aren't morbid and I don't ever feel sorry for people that commit suicide. I can't feel bad for dumbass people...it's just not my nature.

I Love Porn 03-19-2006 06:00 PM

I just don't understand how people can take their own lives. There is always another day ... you always have to maintain hope when times get tough.

SmokeyTheBear 03-19-2006 06:03 PM

i didnt even realise dead people could hang themselves.. :)

/end bad joke

SmokeyTheBear 03-19-2006 06:05 PM

the guy must have on the fence about the whole thing

#1 its not very high he is lucky he died ( well sort of )

#3 that branch is awfully skinny , suprised it didnt break , if it had been a foot further up his weight would have broken it..

Spunky 03-19-2006 06:05 PM

Weird..he looks like he's just standing there

sfera 03-19-2006 06:06 PM

loooks like he has his hands in his pockets

Agreed, I think he is very lucky he snapped his neck or he could have died a long painful death, or lived crippled forever....scary shit. Imagine laying there all night with a broken back until this morning when he was discovered?

C'mon man, give him a break. he was someone's son, brother, maybe father. dumbass is a bit harsh.

I believe you should never judge a man unless you walk a mile in his shoes, then at least you are a mile away, and you have his shoes:winkwink:

d_train 03-19-2006 06:35 PM

Yeah, I understand and apologize for being a little harsh. I just can't sympathise with people that take their own lives. It's the coward's way out.

No offense to you, Ray. I meant no disrespect towards the family. :winkwink:

you dont have to break your neck to suffocate............. SAD..........

hey, you have a right to your opinion, but you know a lot of people have that view. I don't know about "cowards way out"...seems pretty brave to me. That's like saying the guys jumping from the trade center rather than being burned were cowards...they weren't cowards, they just felt they had no other choice. (not that I would compare the two, other than as a logical analogy, I mean they were going to die either way in the 911 situation).

I think the person is desperate and clearly sees no end to the suffering they feel other than suicide. he's fuckin Nuts maybe, but cowardly...I don't know. I think it takes balls to tie a rope around your neck and jump off of a tree.

The sad thing is that he was so desperate that he mustered that kind of courage up to do that, thats the sad part.

That's my :2 cents:

Exactly..Snapping the next would be an easier death for him, but suffocation can still take a life just as easy. It's just a more drawn out process.

yes a lot more drawn out I would wonder what would be going tru his mind as he is dangling there suffocating in panic..................any second thoughts ....but at this point he's just too far gone??
