I'm looking for a software to organize all my content?

With over 1,000 sets I've purchased over the years, I'm finding it hard to keep track of each set's niche/category. In fact, it is easier for me to buy a new set for a niche I want to built a site for than searching for it in my databank, and I'm sure I've purchased the same set twice or more.

I'd like to have a nice little program that would help me keep track of all the content I have with a seach function so that I can find the right content for the right niche...Ideally, the software would be able to do multiple categories search (for example: Teen+Blonde+Chubby+Softcore) and list only content that fit all categories... plus maybe display a thumb per set and more features...

Are there such a software for us non paysite webmasters?

Also It would be nice if the software included the following features:
- Where the set was purchsed
- Number of pictures/videos per set
- On which site it is being used
- Last date it was used
- 2257 documentation

I don't see why a paysite CMS wouldn't work for you.

Check out XTract.

For one, I don't want it to be a software for a pc not a script for a server:winkwink:

As stated on their site: "MAS? is a state-of-the-art software designed to automate the creation and support of adult pay sites through a convenient web interface."
The one I'm looking is for non-paysites owners....

If you want something to organize locally, use picassa. Google bought it, but don't let that stop you, it's a great program :)

Interesting. Can you set any amount of fields as you want with it?

That Pirate doesn't know squat. Yes I believe so. I shall consult the Torah, and let you know.

Hey Alex,

There are at least two more programs you can consider which will help organize different types of content.

Canto Cumulus - I have the most experience using this program having setup a database of about 25000 images. It will also categorize videos and pdfs. You can add your own fields for searching and it will also read image metadata. Not too expensive for the single installation and they offer classes around the US.

Extensis Portfolio - Canto's closest competitor and a similar product. I think for images this is at least as good as Cumulus if not better. I only tried the trial version after talking to the reps at the recent MacWorld SF about a potential application. Also has the abilities to add custom field. Good support.

Maybe I went to the wrong page but Canto Cumulus seems a bit expensive, at $500+.:(

Thats what I get for not updating the software. I have a single user version and it appears that they market it apart from their server versions now.

Check out this link Mediadex for the single user version.
