What are the ways to make around $500/month in mainstream?
 

I have this girl friend who won't do adult stuff.. not too computer savy, but I can help and would like to try to make money on the net...

Whats the mainstream equivalent to submitting galleries? :)

its easy to make over $500 in a just week on ebay
should only take a month or so to work up to that - once you get some good ratings its easy flying.

Blogging is a great way to make some money in mainstream.There are so many untapped niches where there is money to be made.
There are also tons of great affiliate programs on http://clickbank.com/

both pay by paypal and in a timely fashion.

Another would be to jump on google adwords & promote skin products like Clear Pore from Mensniche

The best mainstream scam is to say you're an internet/home based/entrepreneur. Go to a local sports car shop and take pictures of the car. Go take pics of some expensive homes and get some hot babes in bikinis pics and collage them and hook up an affiliate program where you tell people they can make $10,000 a week in website marketing.

Yeah! You notice how every other fucking year some guy gets on tv with an infomercial about how he got rich with real estate or some other such shit and mocks up like a fake talk show or news cast and shows pics of other people's shit as if he made it himself and offers up a program?

People have been doing this going on 25 years now and they usually end up in the clink for a couple of years after sending most of their loot to offshore banks.

Get rich quick schemes have been going on since the dawn of time. Chalk that up to greed.

I've always firmly believed that there is no such thing as easy money. I'd prefer to work my ass off for what I get, cause I know I earned my money.

If you know e-business, stay away from it. If you're new to it, why not? Even though the marketing approach is a bit in your face, it still has some good ideas.

7. Teaching people how to use the Internet.

8. Showing existing sites how they can be re-designed to look more professional.

9. Selling online advertising.

10. Posting on mainstream forums to generate traffic for sites.

Making $500 a month in mainstream is pretty simple. Hell, I've made more than that in a few hours from consulting. Take KRL's #2 suggestion and create a local blog with a business directory, you should be able to make $500 in your first week through ad sales.
