Hungryman, the Leafs just ran into a tough Devils team the past few years. That was their major problem. No crime losing to that team, as both years they went on to the finals.

It's one of the reasons I picked the Leafs to go far this year. I think teams have to lose a few late playoff rounds to get the feel for it, learn how to win. The Devils got stopped by the Pens, and the Rangers before they got it together and won a Cup.

Getting past the Isles was pretty costly, if they lost Sundin for the rest of the playoffs. I'm just wondering if he can make a miracle recovery for the Finals. I'm not sold on the Sens, and neither the Habs or the Canes are impressive, except for Jose - and it was only round one. I can see the Leafs making the Finals this year. But without Sundin, they seem to lack offense.

Sundin played two games with that broken hand. Its obviously not a bad break. I highly doubt he'll be back for the Ottawa series, but if any of semi series go to 7 games, we may see him late in the eastern finals. I definatly think he'd be back for the stanley cup finals if we got there.. which we WILL of course! :)
