problem with scanning a picture !!! help please
 

i just wanted to scan a pic and the result shows white stripes across the whole picture....

the help says probably the glass is scratched or dirty but i highly doubt that because the stripes are to symmetrical......


so what could be the problem

Put a piece of black paper behind the picture before scanning.
