Okay. You think being a celebrity would be cool? You'd love to be able to goto a club, be treated better than any VIP could ever dream of and have everybody loving you? Being able to have sex with any girl that had the chance to come within 5 feet of your presence?

You ever walk to say, the store to buy cigarettes or something. And you run into someone that you haven't seen for a while that's all happy to see you but you really don't want to talk to them cuz you wanna get on your way? Yet you feel obligated anyways?

Imagine every single car that drove by, and every single person that saw you be just like that same mother fucker you didn't wanna talk to. Imagine that, on top of where ever your destination was -- whether it be food, cigarettes, clothes, or anything else you needed to buy -- the people you have to "interact" with to buy whatever it is you're buying be just like that mother fucker you don't want to talk to. plus everybody in the store being just like that too.. and everybody parked outside, and everybody on the way home.. etc. etc..

you know how you enjoy going to the club with a friend or two just to have a couple of drinks and have a good time? imagine if you could only do that with a group of like 10 people with you -- and you having to try to "hide" from people you don't know.. imagine every single girl coming up to you and wanting you groping you, groping you (sounds fun? but imagine all you want to do is drink your beer for 2 minutes without being bother).

imagine everybody in the bar staring at you with either love, jealousy, greedy intentions or hate. imagine not being able to spend a second outside of your house with people wanting something from you. imagine not being able to hookup with a girl you want to at the bar -- because all of them are trying to get you..

with all that in mind. maybe it's true when they say the cost is of fame is your soul?

Theres a cost to everything in life, pretty sure this is worth it to some folks.

True. You don't own yourself anymore. You got contracts for virtually every minute of your life. Go here, show up there, eat this, don't drink that. Vacation? Nah, you got 2 shows this month. Time off? Sure, right after you record 2 more albums.

Actually, you become a puppet. A damn well-paid puppet but nonetheless there are strings attached to every aspect of your life.

You can't even control your body. Bigger tits, smaller ass, go blonde, go brunette, get some tan, no, let's go white again, nose job, chin job, knee job.

I think that the celebrity life is not for everyone. Shit, I wouldn't be able to stand this for 5 mins. What's the point of having 100 million dollars if you can't be yourself anymore? I mean, I wouldn't mind having all this money but the price is way too huge...

sure there are heaps of downsides. But for the millions, it's all part of the parcel. It's a fair trade off and most would still choose that life if they had the chance.

even if you do shit smart and result with a little free time on your hands. where can you go to enjoy it?

Good points, but to be fair, write an essay about the advantages/perks of being famous.

You ignored a lot of good things, like when you walk into that club and people are staring, a good percentage of them will be girls who wanna bang you.

Not to mention you probably arrived to that club in a limo that picked you up at your mansion, and when you walked up to the door they let you cut in line.

i never dreamed of becoming a celebrity, in the 1st place. i love to work behind-the-scenes and not on the spotlight.

like Andy Warhol said, everybody can have their 15 minutes of fame.

I just hate it when celebrities complain about their privacy being invaded. I mean come on, if you can't take the heat, get out of the kitchen.
