Its really since a year or so that it seems like sponsor programs and sales reps totally ignore the first page ratios. It like it doesnt matter anymore. Wtf. Thats so ridiculous.

So i wonder, who are they trying to fool?

yeah , they are fooling us , i can put alots of 1 sponser galleries all over my sites pushing it all over , and the sponser stat shows 1:300 , the hell with them!!!

forget about that why the fuck am I contacting several "so called big" sponsors for my checks reguraly.

At LEAST once a month 1 sponsor "forgets" my epass payment. Its starting to piss me off.

God I hate that counting of 2nd page uniques or only join page clicks. So many sponsors do this to try and keep their ratios down and impress the masses.

The only thing that matters at the end of the day is money, who gives a fuck if you do 1:10,000 or 1:10 as long as the money is right.

Pisses me off too, especially when sponsors post on their site that they pay on the 1st and 16th or whatever, and I get my payment a week later.

i dont look at ratios anymore, just money+time spent vs money earned and analyze reports that way

most people who are reps are reps and not doing their own thing for a reason, or at least not making enough doing their own thing. of course there are exceptions but its just job to make the program look good.

I would consider repping a company if they paid me enough. I hate doing most webmaster work but have no problems showing others how to do it and cash in.

I count my own outgoing hits. And those stats DO matter...
I mean when I see sponsor A is doing 1:400 with traffic from site A. And sponsor B is doing 1:250 from site A. I may think, sponsor A sucks, however, I can also think, maybe I should change my advertising methods for sponsor A...

Also you say as long as the money is right. That may be good when you own a stable site. However, when you get traffic from a lot of different sources, how do you know 'what good' money should be? When you know the amount of clicks, you can make an estimate....

I hate that too... thats why i only count 1st page hits and ratios are based on just that.
